Focus Areas

Each client is unique and requires a customized plan to achieve their goals. While there are some generic tools that can be helpful, Grainger tailors his approach to match a client's particular working style and needs. Coaching engagements are typically 10-12 sessions over 3-6 months; consulting contracts vary. Cost estimates are based on the length and complexity of a coaching engagement or consulting project.

Leadership Development

Grainger’s experience as a chief executive and COO gives him a first-hand understanding of the complexities of leading an organization or team. He is adept at coaching how to successfully manage supervisors and boards as well as how to manage direct reports and teams. Grainger meets leaders where they are and tailors a plan to help them accomplish their personal and professional goals.

Organization & Staff Culture

An organization’s culture directly impacts staff buy-in and motivation. By helping professionals at all levels, Grainger focuses on nurturing a positive culture to strengthen staff morale, improve talent retention, and boost productivity. Grainger designs plans that are effective, relevant, and strategically aligned with a client's culture to help transition professionals into new roles, enhance team dynamics, strengthen core competencies, and change behavior. He guides individuals and organizations through transformative change to create engaging work environments.

Strategic Planning

Mapping strategic priorities and goals has been an inherent part of Grainger’s leadership experience. Jennifer, VP of Global Brand Marketing, Simpro Software

In our time together Grainger encouraged me to find my voice and build on strengths in the workplace. As I struggled with navigating a corporate setting with limited diversity, he redirected me to my core values and how I could use them to my advantage. Grainger challenged me to think outside of the box and color outside the lines. I thoroughly appreciated his ability to verbalize our demographic differences and still find ways to validate the challenges that I face daily. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with such a talented and grounded individual.
